Hey “Single Sole Sisters” & “Wild Wedge Women”
Fashion insiders and designers have really been trying to promote “single sole” shoes. Think plain, pointy pumps or any shoe without a chunky platform. The only people I ever see wearing these styles are fashion editors, CNN reporters or corporate types. I have not witnessed this style on the “streets” yet. Remember, I travel to many international streets and avenues.
This spring competing huge - no pun indented - is the sky high wedge bottom. It’s the sister to the platform shoe. The newest platform for spring is the “flatform”. Yes, a flatter version of the platform.
The thing is every time I put on a pair of “lady pumps” I feel like I am dressing up like my mom. I love the lift my butt and legs get when I slip on wedge bottoms. Think comfort and height.
What to do? Well, since I am true Fashionista I guess I will wear both. I will just make sure that I don’t wear a blouse with a bow when I wear the single sole pumps!

Hi Yvonne,
Thank you SO much for your feedback!
I have forwarded your comments to our ladies buyers and our marketing/web dept. What I can recommend from my personal experience is this. I would shop at the beginning of each season- the earlier the better. This is also true for size 5 feet. Some of my friends actually have Town staff calling them when thier coveted sizes come in. Size 11 is a VERY popular size indeed. We are on it! Best wishes and stay well heeled! Shoezy xo
Love your shoes. Rarely when I visit a store can I find size 11. Every shoe I've looked at that I like on your website only goes to size 10. Besides our 3 daughters who also all have size 11 I know many more women in the same situation that have trouble finding shoes in their size. Perhaps you could create a column on your site to find shoes by size available. Regards. Yvonne

We need more inigshts like this in this thread.
I cannot wait until the Town Shoes How to Wear brochure comes out. I want to see the clothing you choose for each shoe. And I love how you use "real" clothing from Canadian companies and designers. Thank you for that!
I have been on a shoemaker vacay for the past few seasons. You see, my platform bottoms don't have lifts that wear out and need to changed. The worst thing is when someone is walking around "lift-less" click, click... and not to mention the danger of slipping and sliding!
I am a fashon blogger and yes, I have been rocking my pointy pumps all year!
I just love that there is such a wide variety of footwear this spring. A great excuse to get even more shoes! I would wear the pumps to work and the flatforms with my casual wardrobe.
Hey Shoezy! I love the funky wedges. (I am 16 yrs old)
FINALLY! A sensible shoe is making a statement. Who wants to walk on a "brick?" Not I.
